Description
Feed and ride a camel in Baja
Your getaway begins following an air-conditioned ride from your resort to El Tule Canyon, an oasis in the desert with a lush, green landscape and views of the sparkling Sea of Cortez. Upon arrival, meet the guides and the camels who will be escorting you and a small group through the canyon. Carrying people on a ride through nature is tiring work, so the camels need to eat first, and you'll have the chance to help feed them. Once they’re well fed, climb on one of the camels for one of the most unique rides you’ll ever experience.
Explore a canyon in the desert
El Tule Canyon is nestled between Playa El Tule and the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range that runs through Baja California, and you'll explore it and its views from the back of your camel. An animal sanctuary with reptiles and tropical birds from the area is available to visit during your foray, providing you with another opportunity to meet and greet local wildlife. When your journey ends, enjoy an included lunch at the Lion’s Den, a casual restaurant with American favorites such as chicken wings and burgers. Once you’ve refueled and refreshed, your transportation will take you back to your Cabo resort.
Important note: There is an additional $20 USD park entrance fee per person due upon check-in.
